LVL is a ground breaking new technique designed to give you longer-looking lashes without the need for lash extensions. LVL stands for Length, Volume, Lift. Curling the natural lashes from the root.

Is the application painful?No. Clients often find LVL treatments extremely relaxing.

The treatment takes roughly 45 minutes to an hour.

LVL can last up to 6 weeks depending on the length and quality of your natural lashes.

Although LVL is great for many people, its not suitable for everyone. Pregnant women can’t have Lvl done due to access hormones also people that have a medical contraindication to the treatment, or have experienced an allergic reaction to the patch test, cannot have LVL. Also, its only suitable for people that have their own natural lashes. Finally, people with excessively brittle or fine lashes may not be able to benefit from LVL.

YES! You MUST have a patch test at least 24 hours before having the LVL treatment as sensitivity to the products can arise. NO PATCH TEST = NO TREATMENT!

Eyelash extensions are a synthetic material that is designed to feel like natural hair, they are naturally curled to imitate your eyelash. They are used to define the eye and add length and volume. You can go from a really natural look to a dramatic and full lash look.

At Hive Salon we apply lash-by-lash for the most beautiful results, and the process takes about 70 minutes to 100 minutes depending on the what kind of set you are looking for. So come and prepare to relax.

They last up to 6 weeks if cared for with love, but to keep them at their most fabulous we suggest that you come in about once a month for refills. Each client is different depending on their own natural lash cycle and the oils in there skin.

Not at all! At the blink bar most of are clients fall asleep while getting this treatment done, and wake up with fabulous fluttery lashes.

We use silk/mink blend, synthetic mink. With 10 different lengths and 6 different thicknesses to adapt to each clients preference.

No they do not do any damage to your lashes when applied properly, eyelash extensions are actually less damaging to your natural lashes than constant mechanical curling and daily applications of mascara.

Definitely! Just avoid mascara as the ingredients break down the surgical grade glue.

After 12 hours, yes, absolutely. But everything is still delicate for those first 24, so washing hair would be advised before the treatment to let the lashes set.

Yes...but wait 24-48 hours! The bonding agent we use is waterproof, so you can swim, sweat, and shower ideal for a holiday in the sun to avoid any panda eyes on the beach.

Avoid water near the eyes for 24 hours after treatment. Avoid steam rooms/ saunas and facial steaming 48 hours after treatment. Do not use an eyelash curler on the eyelash extensions. Eyelash tinting must be done 48 hours before eyelash extensions. Do not use any oil near the extensions only water based makeup remover around the eyes. cleanse lashes with baby shampoo and a fluffy brush and Always let the lashes air dry after a shower and then fluff up with disposable mascara wand.

The eyelash extensions will fall out with your natural lash cycle every 30-60 days some will also fall out from natural oils in your skin. To Keep them full and voluminous refills every 2-4 weeks depending on how long they last every client is different.
